It was sleety outdoors but fiery indoors. After 51 high-level matches over four days, the "Agricultural Bank of China" - 2019 ITTF World Tour Grand Finals was successfully concluded at the Zhengzhou Olympic Sports Center on the evening of December 15.

室外雨雪交加，室内则是热情似火。经过4天51场高水平对决之后，中国农业银行2019国际乒联世界巡回赛总决赛12月15日晚上在郑州奥体中心圆满落幕。

The audience enjoyed an unprecedented table tennis feast, while the Chinese players achieved satisfactory results and showed their strong overall strength again in this competition. In all five singles, the Chinese team won four gold medals. In the men's and women's singles finals, all players were from the Chinese team. Whichever team won, the champion would be China.

观众享受到一场前所未有的乒乓盛宴，而中国球员在本次比赛中也取得了令人满意的成绩并再次显示出强大的整体实力：全部5个单项中，中国队拿到4座冠军奖杯，在男、女单打决赛中更是实现了会师，早早锁定冠军。

After losing to Ma Long in the semifinals of the men's singles the previous day, Xu Xin had only one game left on the last day, the men's doubles final. In the end, he and Fan Zhendong beat Liao Zhenting and Lin Yunru from Taipei, China 3-1, making him the champion for the second time in Zhengzhou.

在前一天的单打半决赛中输给马龙之后，许昕在最后一天也只剩下男双决赛一项比赛，最终他和樊振东搭档3∶1战胜中国台北组合廖振珽/林昀儒，个人在郑州第二次站上冠军领奖台。

At 8:30 P.M. on December 15, the men's singles final, as the highlight of the competition, was on. Ma Long and Fan Zhendong, two top players, staged a great showdown for the audience. Finally, Fan Zhendong won the captain 4-1, breaking Ma Long's desire for the sixth championship and becoming the second player after Xu Xin to win the title twice in Zhengzhou. Compared to Xu Xin, who only won two doubles titles, Fan Zhendong, who could take the prize money, was the clear winner.

12月15日晚8时30分，本次比赛的重头戏男子单打决赛压轴上演，两位顶尖高手马龙和樊振东为观众上演了一场精彩对决，最终樊振东4∶1战胜国乒队长，在打破了马龙对第六座冠军奖杯的渴望的同时，自己也成为继许昕之后，第二位在郑州两度夺冠的选手，而相比许昕只是拿了两个双打冠军，可以独享冠军奖金的樊振东显然是最大赢家。

ITTF CEO Steve is an Australian who speaks fluent Chinese. At the end of the world tour finals, he described the event in Zhengzhou as "great" and said he would push for more events to be held in Zhengzhou next.

国际乒联CEO史蒂夫是澳大利亚人，却能够讲一口流利中文。在世巡赛总决赛结束之际，他用“很棒”来评价在郑州举办的这次赛事，并表示下一步会推动更多赛事落户郑州。

When he first came to China many years ago, Steve realized it was a country with great potential. So back in Australia, he studied Chinese hard at university, which proved to be a forward-looking decision. "It's too different to recognize." Steve, who came to Zhengzhou as a table tennis player in 2000, expressed his feelings when he returned 19 years later.

多年前第一次来到中国的时候，史蒂夫就意识到这是一个极具发展潜力的国家，因此回到澳大利亚后就在大学里刻苦学习中文，而事实证明他的这个决定极具前瞻性。“变化太大了，完全认不出来了。”2000年时曾以乒乓球运动员身份来过郑州的史蒂夫，在时隔19年之后再度来到郑州，这样表达自己的感受。

“It was already August when the event was confirmed to be held in Zhengzhou. Despite the short time, both the stadium conditions and the organization and service of the competition were very good. I can say that the competition was very successful, and the efficiency of Zhengzhou really surprised me. In particular, the atmosphere here was very good, almost every game was filled with people who knew table tennis and were enthusiastic, and the players also enjoyed playing here." said Steve, "Zhengzhou is really different from before. It's beautiful around the Olympic Sports Center and near my hotel. The people here are very friendly and the city has left a very good impression on me. I think ITTF and CTTA will further strengthen their cooperation in the future, and more events will be held in Zhengzhou."

“确定比赛在郑州举办已经是8月份的事情了，比赛筹备的时间其实很短，但无论是场馆条件，还是赛事的组织和服务都非常到位，可以说比赛非常成功，郑州的效率确实让我吃惊。特别值得一提的是，这里的比赛氛围非常好，几乎每一场比赛都坐满了观众，他们既懂球又热情，运动员们也都很享受在这里比赛。”史蒂夫表示，“郑州真的不一样了，无论是奥体中心周边，还是我住的宾馆附近，都非常漂亮，这里人们非常友好，这座城市给我留下了非常美好的印象，我想未来国际乒联和中国乒协一定会进一步加强合作，会把更多赛事放在郑州。”
